Modern Interior Design and Construction of Malibu Home

This project was done in collaboration with Marshall Lewis Architects. Although it is technically a remodel, we have chosen to list this as new construction, as very little of the original house can be seen. It is now approximately 6000 ft. on a site which overlooks the Pacific Coast Highway with great vistas of the ocean. We have collaborated with Marshall Lewis on a number of other luxury home interiors in creating the residential lighting design and interior space planning. We were also responsible for the design of the modern residential cabinetry throughout the house. The interior spaces throughout the house reflect a palette of rich materials such as copper slate flooring, French limestone flooring, dark stained cherry cabinetry, granite counter tops and Italian waxed plaster accent walls.

As we were involved in the project from its inception, we were able to incorporate creative lighting design solutions into the architecture. There are many areas throughout the home which reflect the custom architectural lighting design which was closely integrated with the contemporary interior design. As our clients love to entertain and have a large family, a great deal of design effort went into the kitchen lighting design and overall kitchen planning.
